Olympic Decline Bench

A decline bench is a type of weight bench that has a sloping back pad which allows for a decline in the angle of the user's body in relation to the floor during exercise. This decline position allows for more focus on the lower chest muscles and can also help to work the lower abdominal muscles. Decline benches are commonly used for chest exercises such as decline barbell presses, decline dumbbell flys, and decline cable flys.
